Any calls regarding dogs please call the office of the Town Clerk first.   (315) 684-8051.   

This way the Clerk can help identify the Dog and who the owners are and we field the calls to the Dog Control Officer.   It also allows us to determine who should be called IE.  NYSP, DCO, ASPCA.  

Dog Licensing Fees: Effective March 2025

• $18.00 – Unaltered Dog
• $10.00 – Altered Dog
• $5.00 Surcharge after 10 days
• $3.00 Replacement Tag
• $10.00 1^st Redemption $20.00 – 2nd

All dogs are licensed June 1st - June 30th each year.   If you are licensing them for the first time from January to June of any given year.   The license will renew the following June 1st - 30th.   Town of Eaton imposes a $5.00 late fee after 10 days of the renewal date.
